Presenter Information
Please join us as a Presenter for the Detroit River Water Festival!
750 Detroit and Windsor are invited to attend the Water Festival. Each class will attend four 20-minute presentations. Presentation locations vary from outdoors along the Riverfront and indoors at the GM Learning Center in the Renaissance Center. We can assign you to a location tailored to your needs and format.
We ask that Presenters provide four 20-minute educational presentations on water for visiting classes. Classes will rotate in groups of appx. 35 students between presentation stations. There will be two morning classes and two afternoon classes for each Presenter.
Schools begin presentations at 10am and 10:30am; we ask that you arrive by 9:00am to set-up. Presentation locations are spread across the Riverfront, once online registration is complete you can check our Google map of the festival to see your exact location, click here. The water festival coordinator will be in contact with you to confirm your presentation and location needs.

Each Presenter will receive a boxed lunch and a Water Festival T-shirt upon registration at Rivard Plaza. Volunteers will be available, if needed, to assist you to set-up at your Presentation site.
Please consider sharing your knowledge and expertise with the next generation of water stewards. Your contributions allow us to present this festival free to school children. Thank you for your support of water education and the Detroit River!

Volunteer Information
Volunteers are ambassadors for the Water Festival. They play a critical role in guiding each class to their presentation site. They also assist with set-up, parking and logistics during the event. There will be a volunteer orientation the morning of the festival to familiarize Volunteers with the festival space and presentation locations. Class guides will be assigned a class and receive a copy of their schedule.
Volunteers should plan to arrive at 8:30am at Rivard Plaza. Coffee and snacks will be provided.
In addition, each Volunteer will receive a boxed lunch, lanyard nametag and a Water Festival T-shirt upon Registration at Rivard Plaza.
Free Parking is available at Rivard Plaza.
